Ramaiah Institute of Technology (RIT) – Eligibility Criteria

BMS College of Engineering offers 14 undergraduate and 16 postgraduate courses. The eligibility criteria vary depending on the course.

Below are the eligibility criteria for all the courses at BMS College of Engineering:

B.E

The candidate should secure a minimum of 45% marks in 12th for the General Category and 40% for the SC/ST Category, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Additionally, the candidates are required to appear in KEA or COMEDK and have a valid score.

B.Arch

The Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% Marks, having Physics, Chemistry and Maths as compulsory Subjects.

Additionally the candidate is also required to appear in NATA and secure a minimum of 40% Marks.

MCA (Direct & Lateral)

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Application or Programming or Business Mathematics or Statistics as an optional/elective subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and for SC/ST category, it is 45%.

Additionally, the candidate should have appeared for any one of the exams like PGCET or KMAT.
